The Human Genome Project (HGP) was completed in 2003. This suite primarily details the research areas covered by the U.S. Department of Energy’s contributions to the HGP via its Human Genome Program. See NIH National Human Genome Research Institute (NHGRI) for additional information. DOE and NIH were partners in the project.
